Kristen Wiley

President

Kristen Hi! I'm Kristen and I am a senior public relations student at the University of Texas at Austin. I'm graduating in December 2010 and I'm very excited to begin my career in public relations. I learned about public relations in the 7th grade and knew that I wanted to study PR and move on to a career in the field. I love writing and coming up with creative ways to help organizations reach their goals. I would like to work in consumer PR, but I am also very interested in technology and digital practices.

My first internships were in the non-profit realm where I served as the public relations intern for both the Houston Ballet and the Texas Wesley United Methodist Foundation. This summer I had the opportunity to intern for the public relations firm, Griffin Integrated Marketing in Houston. I am currently interning at Cohn & Wolfe on the consumer and digital teams. As Vice President of PRSSA I handle budgeting and logistics and making sure there is delicious pizza at every meeting! In addition to interning and studying, I love running and playing with my Australian Shepherd.
